Kalshi public relations chief: U.S. states have no regulatory jurisdiction over prediction markets; Washington State is wasting taxpayer funds.

Golden Finance reported that, in response to controversy over US prediction market regulation, Kalshi’s public relations head said publicly that US states do not have regulatory judicial jurisdiction over prediction markets, and that multiple courts, including the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, have already clarified this legal boundary through precedent. Kalshi expressed disappointment that Washington State continues to spend public funds to advance related regulatory actions.
