Quantum-resistant cryptography and native privacy are definitely the right direction, but with a pace of seven upgrades in seven years, I’m afraid by the time it actually lands, it’ll be too late.

If the final confirmation speed can be significantly improved, Ethereum’s everyday user experience may be saved—waiting half a day to make a transfer is just unbearable.

If native privacy could truly become widespread across the entire web, the way DeFi works would be completely changed—you wouldn’t need to rely on mixers anymore, and regulators would probably have a headache too.
