Ethereum Back Over $1,900 - Entering a New Phase of Recovery? Ethereum is making headlines again after reclaiming the $1,900 support, a welcome development for bulls after several weeks of market pressure.
Is it the start of another Ethereum recovery?
Following the dip that tested the July lows, hovering around the $1,730 area, Ethereum has staged a recovery of around 11% from those levels.
Buying pressure is resurfacing as overall market sentiment improves. Interestingly, the ETH/BTC ratio has now risen to a 3-month high, signalling potential capital rotation out of Bitcoin (BTC) into Ethereum (ETH) for some market participants. Improved market sentiment, the possibility of more institutional inflows, and shifts in expectations regarding monetary policy have all played a part in drawing renewed attention to these leading digital assets. From a technical standpoint, it will be critical to see Ethereum hold the $1,900 mark.
Failure to hold this support could result in the crypto market testing the $1,850-$1,880 region, whereas continued strength above $1,900 could lead to another push towards $1,950 and $2,000.
Crypto prices can be highly volatile, subject to news, shifts in sentiment and liquidity. A lasting recovery, however, would require sustained buying pressure. The recent volatility in the ETH price demonstrates the fluid nature of cryptocurrency market cycles and Ethereum is once again turning into the focus for many traders and long-term holders.
What do you think of Ethereum's chances of breaking $2,000 in the coming days, or do you expect resistance to cause another round of consolidation?
