Cloud computing startup Fluidstack completes $830 million Series A funding round, valuing the company at $7.5 billion

PANews July 21 reports: Fluidstack, an AI compute rental cloud computing startup focused on Neocloud, announced that it completed an $830 million Series A round in January, valuing the company at $7.5 billion. The round was led by Situational Awareness, a fund under Leopold Aschenbrenner, a former OpenAI researcher, with multiple other investors participating. According to the company, Fluidstack builds infrastructure for AI labs, aiming to become the world’s fastest company to deploy hundreds of gigawatts of computing power.
