Ethereum is moving in line with the big BTC, maintaining high-level range-bound consolidation. The tug-of-war between longs and shorts is clearly evident. The overhead 1920-1940 is a heavy pressure zone. After multiple attempts to push higher, bullish momentum fades, and sell pressure releases in a concentrated manner.
If price rebounds back into this zone, you can open a small short position with light size. First target: 1880. If it breaks down, look toward 1840.
The 1840-1860 area below is the core support band. Each time price pulls back, buy orders step in to absorb it. As long as 1840 is not broken, the box/range structure remains intact. For pullback support, you can plan to build long positions. On the upside, first look at 1900; after a breakout, it may surge into strong resistance near 1930.
In a choppy range, false breakouts occur frequently. Both longs and shorts should use light position trial trades. When price reaches the target levels, reduce positions in batches to lock in profits. If the stop-loss is hit, exit immediately—don’t hold through losses, and don’t add to losing positions.
