PANews July 21 — Ostium released an update on last week’s security incident, saying the platform plans to relaunch this week. A notice will be issued 24 hours before trading resumes. The auditing firm, third-party network security experts, and the engineering team are carrying out final checks. After trading is restored, positions will be marked to the real-time market price at the time of resumption. Price changes during the suspension will not trigger liquidations; however, if a position is already below the liquidation threshold based on the real-time market price, it will be liquidated. Unfilled orders will be kept as-is. Recovery plans for affected liquidity providers are being developed. Ostium Labs plans to fund the effort from its own balance sheet and work with both new and existing partners to move it forward. The team reminds users to trust only official channels, and it will not proactively DM users or request keys, seed phrases, or funds.
