Global listed companies net bought Bitcoin last week by only $1.33 million

PANews July 20, 2026 news: According to SoSoValue data, as of July 20, 2026 (Beijing time), last week global listed companies (excluding mining companies) allocated Bitcoin with net purchases of only $1.33 million, down 98.4% month-over-month. Strategy did not add to its Bitcoin holdings last week, and its cash reserves rose to about $3.23 billion; the Japanese listed company Metaplanet also did not buy BTC. Asset management firm Strive announced on July 20 that it would spend $1.15 million to buy 21 BTC at an average price of $63,221, bringing its total holdings to about 19,921 BTC. Capital holding company ORANGE JUICE completed a $40 million financing round, and the funds will be used to purchase Bitcoin. As of the time of writing, global listed companies (excluding mining companies) collectively hold 1,139,656 BTC, with a market value of about $73.76 billion, accounting for 5.7% of Bitcoin’s circulating market value.
