$ETH /USDT ‌

Ethereum is trading near $1,862.11, down 0.55% in 24 hours. After rejection from $1,896.61, strong bearish candles are forming on the 1H chart. If ETH loses the $1,854 support, selling pressure could increase toward the daily low.

Trade Setup — SHORT

• Entry Zone: $1,862 – $1,870
• Target 1 🎯: $1,854
• Target 2 🎯: $1,843
• Target 3 🎯: $1,830
• Stop Loss: $1,882

A strong breakdown below $1,854 with volume could trigger a deeper crash. However, reclaiming $1,882 would weaken the bearish setup.

This shorting plan looks pretty reasonable, but the current price is 1862, and the stop-loss is just 20 bucks away at 1882—so there’s little room for error. It’s recommended to wait for a rebound to around 1875 before shorting; the risk-reward ratio will be better.

The technicals are indeed weakening: on the 1-hour chart, there have been consecutive bearish candles. If 1854 is broken down effectively, downside room will open up. But keep in mind tonight there’s unemployment benefits data, which could trigger volatility. Consider building the position in batches—lightly initiate a short; if it breaks down, add more.

1854 can’t be broken; if it is broken, it will be empty.

The strategy is solid, but set your stop-loss farther out to prevent getting wicked out.
