PANews July 20—According to The Information: Google (GOOG.O) is developing the “Frozen V2” chip to serve its Gemini AI models more efficiently. Google’s new “Frozen” chip is expected to be 6 to 10 times more efficient than its existing TPU. Google (GOOG.O) plans to deploy Frozen V2 chips as early as 2028.
Google (GOOG.O) shares rose in pre-market trading in the US, up 1.2% now.
