ME AI message, according to Beating monitoring, screenshots of a group chat provided by users show that the DeepSeek Harness team plans to launch its first Harness product together with the V4 official release. It is a code agent product; internally, it is benchmarked against Claude Code. It is responsible for enabling models to read and write files, call tools, execute commands, and continuously complete engineering tasks. DeepSeek previously announced that the V4 official version would be launched in mid-July and that peak-valley pricing would be enabled at the same time. Now it is July 20, and the original time window has already passed. If the plan has not been adjusted again, both V4 and Harness are now in their release countdown. In the past, DeepSeek mainly enabled developers to integrate V4 with third-party tools such as Claude Code and OpenCode; this time, it is finally stepping in to compete for the entry point to code Agent products.
