BTC worth $64k—did you get washed out?
First, the surface: it bounced, but it just can’t break past $65k.
Over the past month, it strongly rebounded from the 57K-58K lows, topping out at 65K+, then entered choppy consolidation in the high range. Today it’s at 64,100, down 1.12%, grinding within the 63.7K-64K support band. Every attempt to push through 65K gets smashed back—long upper wicks everywhere. You need to pick a direction. Don’t let both sides slap you in the face.
First thing: ETF flows are back, but retail is still panicking.
In June, there were ETF outflows at a record-history level. Retail went into a frenzy: “The institutions left, the bull market is over!” What happened afterward? Since July, ETFs have gradually warmed up again. Major products like BlackRock’s IBIT have started seeing net inflows, and layered on top of that, short-term short squeezes helped drive BTC’s violent rebound from 57K to 65K.
In the past 60 days, big players have net accumulated over 60k BTC. While you panic-sell and cut losses, the whales are quietly eating the bids.
Second thing: BTC’s scarcity is already at the extreme.
After the 2024 halving, block rewards dropped sharply. Circulating supply is about 20.06M, with only 5% left until the 21M cap. What does that mean? In a few more years, there won’t be any new BTC left to mine.
Hashrate has stayed above 900+ EH/s at high levels, so network security is not a concern. The “supply shock” logic after the halving has never changed—there will be fewer and fewer coins, while demand keeps rising. Won’t the price go up? Do you believe that?
Third thing: at the $64k level, it’s time to choose a direction.
From the 57K rebound until now, a high-range flag-style consolidation has formed. Around 64K is the most concentrated area of on-chain buy orders, and the 63.7K-64K strong support zone has been defended multiple times. But the upside at 65K hasn’t been cleared three times—each surge gets knocked back hard, with heavy sell pressure.
The Fed meeting on July 29 is coming up. CPI has already fallen to 3.5%. If rate-cut expectations heat up, BTC could take off directly. If geopolitical tensions further escalate and 64K breaks, we could see pullbacks to 62K or even 61K.
A battle between bulls and bears—see for yourself.
One side is:
ETF funds continue returning in July; institutions re-entering
Whales have accumulated 60k BTC in 60 days; whales are疯狂 buying at the bottom
After the halving, supply is extremely low; only 5% remains until the cap
Buy orders are concentrated near 64K; support is strong
CPI falling to 3.5%; rate-cut expectations warming
The other side is:
65K has failed three times; heavy overhead sell pressure
Ongoing Middle East geopolitical conflict; risk appetite under pressure
High uncertainty before the Fed meeting on July 29
US Treasury yields + a strong USD continue to suppress risk assets
Key levels
Upper resistance: 65k → 66,000 → 67,000 (profit-taking concentration zone)
Lower support: 63.7k-64k (strong support) → 62,800-63,000 → 61k-62k
Aggressive longs:
Hold above 64k-64,200 and add on volume;试多 with a light position. Targets 65,500-66,500; stop-loss at 63,200. If it breaks 65K, add more.
More prudent approach:
Wait for a pullback to 62,500-63,500 to build positions in batches (DCA) and hold long-term. Reduce or hedge around 64,800-65,500. Or just wait it out—after the Fed meeting on July 29 + geopolitical situation become clearer, then go heavier. No need to rush right now.
Risk control:
No single trade over 5-10% of total funds; stop-loss must be set. Don’t chase or cut hard—especially when headlines are chaotic. The news you’re seeing has already been traded by institutions 10 minutes ago.
BTC’s move this time—from 57K to 65K—is another “stress test” for the halving cycle—
99% of people think “the bull market is over.” In the end, institutions accumulated 60k BTC below 65K.
The day 65k breaks through, you’ll realize:
It’s not that BTC isn’t working—it’s that you keep cutting losses at the lowest points and FOMO-ing at the highest points. #GUSD年化升至3.8% #GateDEX全面接入RobinhoodChain #夏日创作营 $BTC $SOL $ETH
