GateDEX has fully integrated the Robinhood Chain—arguably one of the more interesting moves in recent cross-ecosystem collaboration. On one side, there’s Gate.io’s DEX product; on the other, there’s Robinhood’s newly launched Layer-2. The former brings the GT ecosystem and deep spot liquidity, while the latter benefits from HOOD’s brokerage traffic flow and U.S. regulatory licenses. When the two connect, it effectively pulls “crypto-native liquidity” and the “U.S. stock retail entry point” one step closer in the middle.

For users holding GT, it adds another on-chain pathway with lower slippage and lower fees. For the Robinhood Chain side, GateDEX helps by boosting trading depth on the DeFi side and supporting long-tail assets, so the chain doesn’t end up idling on-chain. The bigger storyline is “tokenization”—the deeper HOOD goes into putting U.S. stocks on-chain, the less far-fetched it becomes after the DEX plugs in for common assets like BTC and ETH to run in the same AMM pools as tokenized U.S. stocks.

Of course, it’s still early days. Robinhood Chain is currently focused on EVM compatibility and the Arbitrum technology stack, aiming to secure advantages first in gas costs and speed. But whether real TVL can truly take off depends on the joint incentive programs from both sides and the subsequent exchange-listing cadence. In the short term, it’s a matter of sentiment; in the long run, it’s a matter of who first makes the “U.S./Hong Kong stocks + crypto” route work. #GateDEX全面接入RobinhoodChain #夏日创作营
