Eight Years in Crypto: Full-Scale Practical Tactics from a Novice Getting Liquidated to a Stable Income-Provider
After eight years in the crypto圈, I understand the pain of ordinary retail investors better than anyone.
From the early days of frequent liquidations, chasing pumps and selling dumps, and blowing up mentally as a clueless newbie, to now trading full-time, staying consistently profitable, and making a living by letting the market feed the family—this road has taken me a full eight years to grind through.
2024 was the year my trading system finally became fully mature. My account net grew by 50x over the whole year. A lot of people think this number is exaggerated, but only I know how steady it really was. Along the way, I made two major withdrawals—paid for a home outright. If it weren’t for those two big cash-outs, last year’s overall returns would have held at a steady 85x.
All the way through, I’ve come to understand: making money in crypto has never relied on luck. It relies on a system, discipline, and timing.
Today I’m laying out, with no secrets held back, my complete set of trading tactics that I’ve refined for eight years of stable compounding. If ordinary people can understand and truly master this, they’ll at least avoid ten years of detours.
All those fancy theories are fake. I’ll only talk about practical playbooks that ordinary people can use, with small capital that can still turn things around: $ETH
Step 1: Split positions like building blocks—don’t move impulsively with 1/3 of the plan
With 800U, I let it take the first trade using one third, and I keep the rest firmly untouched. Remember: no signal means no adding to the position; if it drops, don’t try to bottom-fish; if you’re losing, don’t stubbornly hold through it. With small capital, you must cherish your life even more—every single unit must be spent where it actually matters.
Step 2: Only trade points you’re truly confident in—when the market ranges, don’t reach out
Finding entries is like shooting at a target: aim first, then pull the trigger. If the opportunity isn’t something I can fully finish in one move, I split it into three parts: first wave catching the start, second wave buying the pullback, third wave following the continuation. In a range market, I simply close the software and never do meaningless actions.
Step 3: Roll profits like snowballs—stop-losses welded in place, no wavering
On the first trade, if I make 100U, I immediately treat that 100U as new principal to roll into the next wave. The position size increases gradually, but it will never exceed 30% of principal. Profits are only used to generate more profits—never to gamble on something big. Controlling position size is the core of rolling the snowball.
Step 4: Take profit when it’s good—while others go crazy, I withdraw first
When others chase and get liquidated, I have them take profit with a stop. When others cut losses, we enter according to the rhythm. I don’t greedily take the whole move, but each segment gets a solid bite. Turning a small account around has never been about gambling—it’s built little by little through compounding. $BTC
This system is tailor-made specifically for small-cap retail investors.
The smaller the principal, the less you can act randomly—you have to rely on timing, discipline, and the system to slowly grow it larger.
I’ve seen too many friends with a few thousand U who stare at the screen all day, grind through the night, and trade with chaotic no-rules. The more they lose, the more panicked they get; the more panicked they get, the more they mess up—until they finally completely leave the market.
As for my own guidance, Ling Ke leads, I never rely on gambling. It’s only this “position control + timing” combination punch. Steady and methodical. Doubling your account is just a side effect—the core goal is: to make your account balance every day be a little higher than the day before #沃什称AI是否引发通胀取决于美联储
