ME News, April 26 (UTC+8). Recently, large numbers of community users have reported that the Websea exchange has imposed restrictions on withdrawals. The exchange had previously drawn attention at the Hong Kong Web3 Conference after inviting Rola Takizawa to attend. After the conference ended, some users reported that they were unable to withdraw funds, and said it had experienced similar issues two years ago. In response, Websea’s official statement said that the withdrawal function has been temporarily adjusted because the platform is currently conducting a funds audit. Withdrawal requests that have not been broadcast on-chain will be returned to users’ accounts via an asset backfill method, and the platform expects to disclose further progress by April 30.
