PANews July 19 news: CoinDesk reported that Succinct Labs executive Brian Trunzo wrote that the traditional approach of using AI-based “detection of AI” has become ineffective. After autonomous AI agents begin to participate at scale in browsing, trading, content publishing, and interacting with humans, the internet is facing a systemic “trust crisis.” He noted that zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) can provide AI with independently verifiable and tamper-proof “behavior credentials,” proving models, training data, inference processes, and permission boundaries without exposing underlying data, and distinguishing between human and agent identities. The article calls on the United States to legislate that, in high-risk AI scenarios (such as financial transactions and interactions with minors), agents must carry verifiable cryptographic proofs, shifting responsibility from “the content itself” to “lack of verifiable proof.”
