Just after midnight, I saw a whale wallet address—he transferred quite a lot of ETH into a lending protocol. My first reaction was, “Holy crap, is he trying to pump the market?” Then I looked closer: he was also shorting in another pool at the same time… I almost impulsively followed the trade—good thing I took another look. When a whale’s wallet moves, sometimes it’s really only hedging risk, not building a position. Before following, you really have to tell the difference, otherwise it’s easy to get buried. Lately, that re-staking “matryoshka doll” controversy has also been pretty hot—feels like everyone stacks “safety yields” on top of each other, so in the end, who’s actually carrying the risk? Anyway, I’m staying on the sidelines for now. Even if fees are lower, you still can’t blindly chase—so that’s it.
