Staring at funding rates all night has me dizzy. Then I check my wallet and see that assets across a few chains—ETH, SOL, ARB, OP—are scattered like ants moving grain. Every time I need to rebalance, I have to spend half the day flipping through everything, and it’s really annoying. Recently I also heard that on-chain data tools are actually lagging, and even the labels can be secretly changed. Relying on them to chase the hotspots and run fast might help you move quicker, but it also makes it easier to step into traps.

Anyway, my current habit is: before placing an order, I transfer all the stablecoins in my wallet that I can use into the same aggregation address, and in the meantime I usually leave only the main-chain gas fee in one place—so those scattered small assets don’t steal my attention. As for impulsive trading, I’ve set a hard rule for myself: when I see a coin suddenly gets pumped up, I first close the K-line, take a sip of water, and check again after five minutes. If that rush still hasn’t faded, I’ll open the trade according to my stop-loss plan. I’d rather miss out than chase the price higher.

That’s it for now—night-shift security guards are down to only watching the charts and keeping their hands in check.
