Last night I chatted with a friend until the middle of the night. He asked me why I care so much about the limits on contract approvals. Honestly, people think it’s just a matter of tapping an “Allow” button—but in reality, it’s like sleep: you never know which day a single oversight will be enough for someone to empty your account. Anyway, I recently pulled out all my small positions, and when I went back to look at the 16 contracts I had authorized before, I broke out in a cold sweat. Rate-cut expectations and the U.S. Dollar Index rise and fall together, and market sentiment moves along with them—but for people like us, we still need to leave a bit of clarity for ourselves. That’s it for now.
