Alibaba Cloud Qwen announced the opening of the Qwen3.8 large model with 2.4T parameters
PANews July 19 news: Alibaba Cloud’s large-model team, Qwen, announced that it will soon open-source and release weights for an ultra-large-scale model, Qwen3.8, with 2.4 trillion parameters. The official said the model’s overall capabilities are comparable to leading AI models, and it ranks itself only second to Fable 5. The current preview version, Qwen3.8-Max-Preview, has been launched on Alibaba’s Token Plan, Qoder, and QoderWork, and developers can test and use it first.
