PANews, July 19: Base’s largest Chinese community (unofficial) has changed its name to “Base too awesome Chinese community,” apparently in response to dissatisfaction with Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong changing his profile picture. Previously, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong changed his avatar to Superman and hinted that he was about to do something big. The community interpreted this as Base preparing major moves and learning from Robinhood. meme coin $BRIAN then surged to a market cap of 37 million. On the same day, Base chain TVL also increased by $100 million. However, just one day later, Brian Armstrong changed his avatar back. Currently, $BRIAN ’s market cap is only $1.97 million.
