PANews July 19 news: According to the 《科创板日报》, during WAIC 2026, Shanghai’s humanoid robot pilot-test service platform was officially launched and fully put into operation. Reporters from 《科创板日报》 learned that the pilot-test service platform relies on resources from more than 480 upstream and downstream suppliers to match localized core components; it works with industry organizations and universities to jointly draft group and industry standards for humanoid robots, and opens open-source software and hardware infrastructure to provide support for secondary development; it connects with policies on Pudong Innovation Vouchers, first-of-a-kind product grants, and results transformation subsidies, with the pilot-test service able to enjoy up to 50% in fee subsidies; it also coordinates with banks and insurance institutions to launch special R&D loans and liability insurance covering the entire pilot-test cycle.
