Looking out the window today is a typical street scene of a small northern city.

Across the road, a few “Sister’s family restaurants” are still open, with blue roofs and white walls—simple and unadorned. Occasionally a white car passes by, and electric scooters move through slowly. The trees are lush, the overhead wires are crisscrossed. The sky is a bit overcast, but quiet.
There are no skyscrapers, no hustle and bustle—only the most ordinary sense of daily life.
Sometimes, even a plain view outside the window can be quite healing.
