Golden Finance reported that on July 19, from 1:25 a.m. to 1:48 a.m. local time on the 19th, a Xinhua News Agency reporter in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, heard three rounds of intensive and powerful explosions. The Ukrainian Armed Forces said that Russian forces launched multiple ballistic missiles at Kyiv from the Bryansk and Kursk regions. The Ukrainian Air Force posted on social media that Russian ballistic missiles were attacking from multiple directions, including the north, east, and southeast, reminding residents of Kyiv to take shelter. Kyiv Mayor Klychko said in a social media post that in the city’s Desnyanskyi district, Shevchenkivskyi district, Sviatoshynskyi district, and Solomianskyi district, multiple buildings were hit and caught fire, and staff from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service and medical personnel are rushing to the attack sites to provide rescue.
