Someone asked me what I use to store my assets, and honestly, I’m pretty conflicted.

If it’s a small amount of money, a hardware wallet is kind of overkill, but if you have a few ETH or stablecoins, buying a cold wallet and putting it away makes you feel more at ease—besides, it isn’t expensive. Multisig and social recovery—I always feel like that’s something only big holders worry about. For ordinary people, setting up a Ledger or Trezor and keeping the seed phrase in good order is already enough.
But lately, the people grinding testnet points have been guessing every day whether the main network will issue tokens. I look at their wallets and see a bunch of small accounts—multisig plus social recovery looks pretty slick, like they’re getting ready for an airdrop. As for me, my funds aren’t that big, so I’ll do it like this for now. If one day my assets double, I’ll consider upgrading—there’s no rush. After all, gas fees are expensive, and dealing with too much complexity is painful.
