Just saw someone complaining about the fairness of transaction ordering, saying retail traders’ trades are always getting cut in line, while gas is both expensive and slow. But honestly, the governance token side is pretty magical too—people hold votes, but handing votes to big holders has become the norm; in the end, it’s still those people who decide. I’ve been dodging sandwiches for so long that, based on what I’ve observed, I’ve found that governance power ultimately consolidates in the hands of a few protocols, and the small stack of votes retail has can’t make waves at all. Tell me—what are you governing? Governing thin air. Anyway, I don’t really buy these tricks; I’d rather stick to private routing and adjust slippage protection, so at least when I’m fast, I won’t get screwed.
