I just saw someone complaining in the group chat that the mempool is clogged up so bad that transactions take half a day to confirm. Actually, this is pretty much like real-life queueing—if you offer enough tip (gas), you can cut in line and take the VIP lane; if you don’t, you just have to wait, and sometimes you get so mad when people cut in that you want to curse. What’s even more annoying is that some miners tend to process large accounts first, while small retail users’ transactions get stuck at the bottleneck, watching others cut in right in front of them. You know, with all those new buzzwords like modular blockchains and DA layers, developers talk it up endlessly, but ordinary users only ask, “Will my transfer go through faster? Is it cheaper?” Honestly, I’m pretty curious whether those “improvements” will ultimately make us worry less. Anyway, every time I run into congestion, I switch to low-gas settings, then go scroll on my phone, check again after ten minutes—if it works, great; if not, resend. Don’t act like those people who stubbornly force it through—your mindset will easily break.
