I used to love earning points and hanging badges too, thinking I was “building the community.” Later I realized that the time I spend tapping those few buttons every day is enough for me to run three slippage simulations.

As soon as the airdrop season hits, task platforms go anti-sybil and the points-based system gets as competitive as going to work. Put simply, those badges don’t really do much—besides giving you one extra identity badge on Discord. My mindset has changed now—I don’t chase explanations; I accept randomness. On-chain behavior itself is the best résumé. Why tie yourself down to repetitive labor just for an NFT icon?

Anyway, save some gas and time—spend more time looking at the actual routing decisions. Don’t let airdrops become your second job.
