I used to be too lazy to keep track of my trade records. I thought everything would be on-chain anyway, so I could just export it at the end of the year. But last year, when I filed my taxes, it took me several days just to review the on-chain interaction records for one chain game. When gas fees were high, the slippage was also big—by the time I added it all up, my head was spinning. I’ve learned my lesson now: for every transaction that’s even slightly larger, I screenshot it or save the tx hash—better than losing my mind later. Anyway, back when the chain game economy crashed, the studios and the coin price spiraled together. Fees were indeed lower, but the amount I lost still didn’t decrease to keep track of—haha.
