But seriously, when it comes to stacking yield, never stack fantasies too—what you think you’re earning as a “security premium” might actually just be serving as a free helper tool for hackers. Recently, when a tax-increase news item came out for a certain region, the pressure on deposits and withdrawals got bigger too, and that reduced my impulse to re-stake by about a third. Anyway, I’m being more cautious—I’d rather make a little less than wake up in the middle of the night to find out whether the contract blew up.
