I just exported and organized the on-chain transaction records from the first half of the year, and my head is spinning. Before, I used to just jot things down on the fly, and by the end of the year reconciling everything almost drove me crazy. Now I’ve learned my lesson: for every swap, save the tx hash, and record the gas fee on a separate line—even if I lose money, I still save a screenshot. Recently I saw that some region is floating rumors about adding taxes again, so I might as well lower my mental expectations on the deposits and withdrawals side. I’ll treat it as keeping more records so I won’t have to argue later.

Speaking of impulsive orders, my habit is to look at abnormal gas and calm myself down in the process—every time I see congestion, I remind myself: wait until the network is smooth again. After all, that little profit isn’t enough to cover the fees. That’s it for now—my tool is only halfway written, and gas fluctuations pulled me away again 😂
