I was just chatting with a friend about cross-chain bridges, and the more I look into it, the more unsettling it feels. Those that constantly set up multisig and feed prices through oracles look pretty safe—but really, as long as any one step is even slightly late or gets steered off by the oracle, the money can get stuck in the middle.

Anyway, when I cross-chain now, I’d rather wait a few more minutes for the other chain to confirm and then lock it in on-chain, than put faith in those “quick confirmation” gimmicks. Lately, meme coins have been coming in waves one after another, and the pace of celebrity shilling is insanely fast. Even old players are telling new users not to take the last step—plain and simple, the hype rotates too quickly, and missing out is better than getting trapped. Wait for confirmation—sometimes that’s the whole game.
