Just finished chatting with a friend, and then I ran into a whole string of posts about “airdrop season.” Honestly, if you want the most direct way to tell whether the project team is actually doing serious work, it’s by watching the treasury spending and the milestones.

A lot of projects write roadmaps like they’re writing a novel—half a year later, they’re still stuck on “infrastructure development.” So I’m curious: where did the money go? Did it just go to payroll, or are they really building? Either way, I’ll check the treasury expenditure records on-chain to see whether there are any big transfers to weird addresses. If there’s nothing going on, then it’s basically just sitting there.

And the points-based system now—seriously, unbelievable… the freebie hunters grind through tasks every day, like it’s more intense than going to work. They’re even more proactive about anti-sybil than the teams are about building. There are plenty of tutorials, but I care more about the team background and the overall vibe of the community discussions: who’s actually working, and who’s just coasting. After watching a few meetings and doing a post-meeting recap, you’ll figure it out.

In plain terms, whether the money is being spent where it counts matters way more than how wildly the whitepaper blows things up. With the current market, scammers are working harder than builders—I’ll just look at the people first, then the work. Oh, and tonight’s DAO meeting is starting at three hours minimum. I’m really speechless.
