Hey, I was watching gas all day, and then I suddenly thought of something. Whether the project team is really doing the work isn’t always about how many slogans they shout—it’s more about how they pace their treasury spending and how complete their milestone delivery is. Put simply, real builders will honestly spend funds on critical R&D and ecosystem development, not burn money on marketing every day or buy their way onto leaderboard positions.

Lately, I’ve also been seeing that back-and-forth drama over NFT royalties, and honestly, it’s a bit annoying. Creators rely on royalties to make a living, but once secondary liquidity dries up, whether the contract has changed the royalty terms is basically irrelevant. Some project teams, the moment a bear market hits, immediately cut technical investment—then they turn around to latch onto trending topics and post images. That kind of behavior is basically enough to tell they don’t truly want to build long-term.

What I regret isn’t the outcome—it’s those moments when people could clearly see that the number of on-chain transactions was dropping and that GAS consumption had fallen sharply, yet still kept telling themselves, “Just wait and see.” In any case, now I’ve learned to focus on milestone completion. Data can be falsified easily, but you can’t fake code iteration and actual user retention.
