The comments below were all scaring each other with “dump it and run first.” In reality, things like reserve transparency—being able to check it on-chain is one thing, but once a run-on-the-panic mindset kicks in, who cares how pretty your financial reports look? Run first. I, for one, have distributed stablecoins across a few baskets now, so I’m too lazy to bet on human nature.

That said, lately all that modular blockchain DA-layer talk has been going around; developers have been chatting up a storm, and we everyday users can’t keep up—it basically comes down to splitting and recombining the underlying layer, but the user-side experience doesn’t really differ.
