I stared at the gas and the packing order for a long time—actually, the route can be broken down: the fluctuating gas fee range matches a few specific nodes, and transfers with timestamps separated by just a few seconds can all be aligned with interactions to the same contract. The traces left on-chain, in turn, can all be explained. As for stablecoins—about that reserve audit thing over the past two days—when the group was panicking, the on-chain activity was actually clean. The de-peg rumors seem to correspond to a split of a market-making address, nothing supernatural. I can’t really say for sure, but it feels like we shouldn’t jump to conclusions too quickly first.
