Just got out of a governance meeting, and it dragged on another half an hour—really fed up. By the end, I realized it’s basically no different from points and badges—everyone is just trying to show up, and whoever has more badges talks louder. I get it—social mining. Pulling in some early airdrops was fine, but turning it into “identity anxiety” is exhausting. I also recently saw people getting scolded for restaking—like a nested doll. It feels just like the old days of刷POAP: a bunch of people stacking buffs are almost fast enough to loop themselves in, only to find later that the gas fees are higher than the returns. Anyway, my current take is: don’t spend your time and wallet chasing those little icons—people you actually get along with are worth more than any badge.
