In 300 Level as a Marketing student, I was taught Business Law, and one principle has stayed with me ever since:

"Nemo dat quod non habet."
You cannot give what you do not have.
In this jungle we call Web3, you'll meet all kinds of people.
Some thrive on negativity. Some genuinely believe the only way to win is by scamming others. So when they see someone moving differently, they assume it's all an act.
The same mindset exists in Nigerian politics. Many still find it difficult to believe that Peter Obi could serve as a governor for eight years without looting public funds. Sometimes, people judge others based on what they believe they would have done if they were in the same position.
One thing is certain:
• People who are full of peace spread peace.
• People who are full of bitterness spread bitterness.
• People who are full of knowledge educate others.
• People who are full of excuses create more excuses.
• People who are positive spread positivity.
Do you have to prove yourself to everyone? No.
Do you have to explain yourself to everyone? Also no.
Just keep doing the right thing. People will often choose the version of the story that fits their bias, regardless of the facts. Your responsibility is to live with integrity and ensure your hands are clean.
Shalom 🙏
