The contract market most fears taking a position and hard-holding through it to the end; the “slow boiling a frog” type of choppy oscillation is the easiest way to wear down one’s mindset. Each rebound round is not a reversal—it's only giving trapped holders a window to reduce positions and exit. Don’t fantasize that the market will surge one-way and let you get your money back quickly—timing always has room to shift. In everything, don’t act too hastily. Reduce exposure in batches by relying on resistance to lower your position size; use light swing trading and hedge by relying on support; adjust your position cost gradually and methodically—that’s the safer way to think about getting out of the trap.
