DOG Mode loosens the default Bitcoin forwarding policy without changing the consensus rules

Odaily Planet Daily reports that DOG Mode is an alternative Bitcoin client that relaxes the default forwarding policies affecting Ordinals and Runes transactions, but does not change Bitcoin consensus rules.

The proposal runs counter to the direction of BIP-110. BIP-110 previously attempted to tighten Bitcoin rules to limit on-chain data.
