Hey, lately I’ve been getting a bit too into losing money to gas while doing interactions. I did a post-match review last night and realized that cutting losses is really just like a breakup—it hurts more the longer you drag it out. I used to always think, “One more interaction might help me break even,” but the more gas I stacked, the higher it got. Then when my mindset finally cracked, it affected my next round of actions. Now my mindset has updated through several versions. Bottom line is: “admit the loss quickly, and keep it stylish.” Wouldn’t cutting earlier and taking the hit be better than saving that “interest” for something else?
Recently I’ve been seeing a lot of people discussing re-staking “matryoshka dolls”—all kinds of things about shared security yield stacking, hyped to the sky on Moments. I personally think that no matter what new gimmick it is, controlling drawdowns is the real king. If we’re farming airdrops, the worst thing is to treat gas as a sunk cost and stubbornly power through. That’s it for now—I’ve got to reorganize the tables again today…
