Restaking has been quite hot lately—lots of projects are promoting shared security, and the returns do look genuinely tempting. But honestly, every time I see the word “stacking,” I get a bit wary. When returns are stacked, don’t accidentally stack the hallucinations too—security isn’t just simple addition. The more protocols you add, the broader the attack surface; no matter how detailed the audit reports are, you still can’t guarantee that some underlying issue won’t exist.

Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and phishing links have also been proliferating. Everyone’s security awareness needs to keep up—don’t just focus on chasing yield. There are many tutorials, but I usually look for ones that clearly explain the risk model and code logic, not just ones that teach you how to click buttons. After all, even if a honeybird is foraging for nectar, you still need to make sure there aren’t poisonous stingers in the flowers first.
