I just looked around a bit, and now people are talking about parallel execution and sharding again—various new chains and new narratives. It feels like everyone has been hyped up on adrenaline again. Honestly, whenever I see this kind of moment, I end up lagging a half-step instead. I first think about where the money I have is actually safest across chains—whether, when I want to run, the route is still smooth.

Recently, someone in the group shared screenshots claiming a stablecoin has depegged. I don’t know if it’s true, but every time this kind of news comes out, the exchange’s USDT tends to trade at a discount. In any case, my first reaction is to adjust my positions early—don’t wait until the very last train, when everyone is already packed in and there’s no way to get on. When the crowd starts flowing, the “fluid” is most likely to get stuck at the exit. By the time you want to leave, the front is already blocked.

To put it bluntly, as lively as it is, only what you can actually take with you at the end is yours.
