Recently I’ve been scrolling on X, comparing Layer 2s by TPS, fees, and even ecosystem subsidies—and the more I look, the more exhausting it feels… It seems like everyone is competing to see who’s loudest, but users end up not knowing which one to choose.

Over the past couple of days, I intentionally stopped and didn’t jump into any new re-staking protocols. The returns stack on top of each other and look beautiful, but if you think carefully about the “shared security” logic—the underlying assets are cross-layer, and the risks are cross-layer too. Anyway, I’ll pause first, read the audit reports, and then look at the dependency relationships in the contracts.
In plain terms: don’t let the words “stacking” fool you into a hallucination. Pause and stop scrolling—sometimes going all-in isn’t as useful as stepping back and slowing down.
