Time to be optimistic. But you know what else gets pummeled when everyone turns on their water sprinklers?

The largest reservoir in the United States, Lake Mead on the Colorado River, is rapidly drying out. Years of severe drought and overuse have pushed it to dangerously low levels. That decline threatens drinking water for 25 million people and hydroelectric generation at the Hoover Dam.
And it’s not alone. Other major reservoirs run dry every summer.
Don’t ask me why I know all of this. Top‑down macro economics forces you to zoom out, so far out it feels like God mode. If the data is accurate and my brain is still functioning reasonably well… this is the picture you see.
@Elonmusk I know only one chad that can come up with a reasonable fast and cheap way. Water is the main resource to all life. How do we solve this in the US?
