Ah, I’ve seen another bunch of people talking about parallel execution and sharding—this is probably the fourth time. Every time, they all think they’re going to change the world. Honestly, I’m not that excited. Just watch the show. The real point is where to place your own assets and how to get out more practically.

Lately, discussions about re-staking and the shared security approach have been getting more and more attention. The compounded yields look genuinely tempting, but some people say it’s a set of “Russian dolls,” and I think so too. One layer stacked on another—if something goes wrong at the bottom layer, you won’t even be able to run. I, for one, don’t really dare to touch anything too complex. I’ve been burned before, and I learned my lesson.

Go slower, be steadier. Occasionally check out the new sharding projects for some excitement is fine, as long as you don’t get pulled too far into it. Sleeping soundly is better than anything.

Forget it, I talked a bit too much. I’ll just take a few more looks at the liquidity pools tonight.
