Just looked at the on-chain data, and some addresses’ approval records are really alarming. They give contracts unlimited allowances at the drop of a hat—and then leave them there. Basically, if you don’t revoke permissions, it’s like you’re casually throwing away your house keys; it’s not surprising when, one day, after a contract gets exploited or a backdoor is found, funds get wiped out to zero. Lately, many new L1/L2 chains have been rolling out incentives—everyone’s busy farming and selling, but how many people actually take a moment to check their approvals? For me, after every interaction, the first thing I do is to revoke them or set a limit. Big holders may look carefree, but in reality the underlying logic is very solid—they clear approvals almost every time. We regular people shouldn’t even try to save a few Gas fees; spend one minute before bed to scan through them—it’s more worthwhile than chasing hot topics.
