To be honest, when it comes to position management, my own version is: “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, and don’t put the basket on one cart.” Put simply, if you can’t hold spot positions, you keep thinking about switching vehicles; liquidation on perpetuals is just too much gambling. Anyway, recently I’ve been watching people on testnets who farm points—they often think about getting rich after the token launches on the mainnet, but the risks are actually quite high. I’d rather start with a small position to test the waters—either use a layered strategy from modular protocols, or just honestly place limit orders in batches. The core is one sentence: don’t let one position crush you. I don’t know if this is right or not; I’m just using it myself for now and seeing how it goes. In any case, if I can lose less, I lose less—once your mindset is stable, you can observe slowly.
