Odaily Planet Daily reports that South Korean financial giant KB Financial Group has announced the establishment of a digital asset strategic investment fund with a size of 1000 billion won (about $71 million), aiming to seek investments in the digital asset and artificial intelligence sectors and to accelerate digital finance transformation by integrating investment projects with the group’s business. The fund manager is KB Investment. Key investment focuses include: technology companies related to the digital asset market, foundational model and application services supporting AI transformation, and early-stage startups in AI infrastructure such as data inference and analytics.
