To be honest, every time I approve a contract, my hands still shake a little. Unlimited approvals—plainly speaking—are just handing over the keys to your wallet: the other party can take as much as they want. Anyway, I’ve developed a habit now—once I approve, I immediately revoke it, just like locking the door before going to sleep.

That chain game crash cycle I’ve been watching lately has me a bit panicked. The studios have been relentlessly farming, and once inflation kicks in, the token price spirals downward. Before projects run away, they often still leave behind infinite-allowance permissions. You never know which contract will turn into a backdoor tomorrow.

Having set a spending limit makes me feel more at ease. But honestly, every time I see that screen saying “Approve spending cap: ∞”, I still have to take a deep breath. Now I’m basically one step away from setting the revoke permission as a phone alarm—every night before bed, I remind myself: clear approvals first, then sleep. Otherwise, if I wake up in the middle of the night, I always feel like someone is rummaging through my wallet.

Forget it, I won’t go on. I’m going to clear those old approvals tonight.
