Someone else is hyping modular blockchains again, talking about “splitting the consensus layer” and “separating execution from the layer.” It sounds pretty cool. But honestly, if you’re a regular user—using Uniswap every day or just claiming an airdrop—do you feel any difference? No. It’s still slow, it’s still congested, and gas is still expensive. Put simply, this is basically for developers. End users only care whether the final experience is good or not.

Recently, there was an upgrade to that public chain, and everyone’s been guessing whether projects will migrate. I think it’s pretty boring—because in the end, it’s all just waiting: waiting for the network to recover, waiting for the news to land, waiting for the new narrative to come out. I actually think going slower is better. Being half a beat behind lets you see clearly who’s truly doing work and who’s just hopping on the hype. Those rushing to push new modules might just be changing the packaging and cashing in on the same suckers.

Anyway, I stand with cash flow—I don’t stand with concepts.
